It all began the moment I walked into my high school radio station. That was it—I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and when I told my parents, they said, “Great, see how you feel after college.” Well, my love for radio only grew stronger while working at 89FM The Impact at Michigan State University, where I not only found my passion but also met my husband of 22 years!
After a few years on air in Detroit, I made my way to Chicago and haven’t looked back. For over 20 years, I’ve called The Mix my second home, and it’s been an incredible ride.
We live on the north side of the city with our teenage son (who’s also a huge music fan) and our rescue dog, Biba. I’ve always had two loves in life—music and laughter—so getting to be part of The Morning Mix with a team that genuinely makes me laugh every day is truly a dream.
When I’m not on air, you’ll find me trying out new restaurants (though I always return to my favorites), enjoying a fun cocktail or a glass of wine, and hunting for the best deals. We love taking weekend road trips whenever we can, sneaking in weekday games at Wrigley, and working on never-ending house projects (seriously, does it ever end?).
I’m always staying on top of the latest TV shows and squeezing in a good movie whenever I can. My son plays football, my husband’s an amazing cook, and I’m happy to sit back and enjoy watching them both!

Born and raised in Mount Prospect, Chris first joined The Mix as a Promotions Assistant in 2008. He went on to become the station’s first Social Media Manager before heading to Los Angeles in 2016, where he handled social media for Ryan Seacrest.
Chris later stepped into the advertising world as an Associate Creative Director at Liquid Advertising, working with major clients like SEGA, Square Enix, and Blizzard. In 2019, he returned to The Mix to host nights, moved to The Afternoon Mix in 2020, and has been the host of The Morning Mix since 2022.
Outside of radio, Chris is an accomplished musician and stand-up comedian, having performed at Zanies, The Comedy Store LA, and other venues. He also co-created, co-wrote, and co-starred in the sitcom The Jamz, which premiered on Netflix in 2016 and is now available on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime.
Chris lives on the Northwest Side of Chicago with his wife Amy, their two daughters and son, and their rescue pup, Roscoe.
